Well, as I thought I should probably keep you up to date about what I am doing and up to… After last week, my quite “crazy” Exam-Week I’m done will all of my exams. It’s awesome to be “free” again, although I should start doing my projects. Or let’s better say, I should finish them!

The Wire Tree My Visual Art project… it is going to be a sculpture, a tree out of wire. It is supposed to reflect the impact we have on the environment and all the issues through global warning and the questions and so on… I am going to put Coke Cans onto the tree, instead of real fruit. Wonder how it is going to turn out when it is all done, finished the stump today.. =D

Packaged Personality This project is for Visual Design… We have to create a package or bag or whatever that is reflecting our personality and of course I’m making a handbag. Let’s say I already made it – out of a T-Shirt. I am damn proud of it. It’s gorgeous! gg Just can’t help it… Now I just have to put stuff in there that reflects my character as well… let’s see how far I get. Wish me luck! =}

Well, I’ll try to keep you up to date. As I said. I will try. Not so much in the coming weeks, am not really going to be at home… Monday – Wednesday: Crossroads (it’s a school camp just for Year 11 – it’s gonna be awesome!) Friday – Monday: Camping with my friend Shanade =D Tuesday – Wednesday: Canberra and I can not wait! There’s this flower festival on and it’s going to be just BEAUTIFUL! Sunday – Sunday: Art School =D (am not sure about the date, I keep forgetting it…)

My last blog entry was… ages ago. But anyway! ;) It is May now, it’s getting cold over here in Australia and at the moment it is cold enough to have a fire. Today is going to be a long day, I still have to do my Maths homework, and it is a lot and it is due tomorrow… And we got all our Exams back.

English
I am pretty desappointed. I passed, 34 out of 60 points… that is 56%!!! And that is the worst result I ever had here in Australia.
But there is a good excuse for having just 56%... hehe I had my English Exam on Monday, my first school day. I came to school and everyone was excited and everyone asked me if i learned something for the exams. I was just like “What?” Anyway, English was my first exam… I wasn’t prepared at all. But i passed! (at least that…)

Drama
My second Exam and I got one of the best marks in class. 33 our of 40 – 82.5%! And I had just one day to learn this whole pink book by heart. Stanislavski’s, Berthold Brecht’s, Antonin Artaud’s and Growtowsky’s acting techniques and how they taught their actors to act.

Growtowsky for example always tried to include the audience into the play. He wanted them to feel comfortable and involved. Berthold Brecht did the completely opposite thing. He wanted the audience to see the play as a narration of a happening. He tried to alienate the play with his so-called “Verfremdungseffekt”. Brecht used bright stage lighting to seperate the audience and the actors, he hardly used any stage supplies. The actor had to narrate the whole play, hardly any “acting”. Antonin Artaud was one of the first playwrights who thought, that acting with facial expressions and emotions is more important than acting through words. So did Stanislavski. Stanislavski taught his actors to use their “emotional memory” to remember of all the emotions they felt, which would suit their characters, and than to go through the emotions again and again, till they can reinact them.

Maths – Standard
My next exam on Tuesday, after Drama, was the Standard Maths Exam. I passed! Thank god… with 86% and that is pretty good. Got an award. =3

Maths – Extension
Not that good though, but I still passed. 68% – very disappointing… I simply didn’t get some of the examples, didn’t understand some words and that ruined my whole exam, but doesn’t matter…

Anyway… this is my fourth month in Australia and I still love it! I’m not homesick, still not… but who knows, hopefully all my friends and especially my host family won’t get sick of me! hehe

Charles Darwin oder Latein? Definitiv Charles Darwin. Er ist viel interessanter und ein unheimlich guter Mensch. Ich bewundere ihn in manchen Dingen, und in anderen Dingen denke ich mir wieder, WOW! Das ist doch zum verrückt werden. Er war gegen Schule und hat Hummeln beobachtet, Tauben gezüchtet und Cirripedien (oso. ähnl.) erforscht.
Ich für meinen Teil darf Latein Grammatik erforschen... jaja und Latein Vokabeln strebern, ich bin nicht besonders gut in Latein und tue mir schwer mit dem Lernen der Vokabel, da mir entweder die Motivation oder der nötige Wille fehlt.
Heute aber setze ich mich davor und lerne zuerst die Vokabel. Danach setze ich mich an die Grammatik und nebenbei schreibe ich mir alle Vokabel ab. Ich bin mir sicher, dass ich das alles bis nächsten Donnerstag schaffe, aber wie gut ich dann Latein kann ergibt sich. Jaja, dass Leben ist hart und ungerecht...
Heute muss ich noch einen Deutsch-Aufsatz schreiben und habe Gitarre, will noch etwas an der E-Gitarre rumzupfen.. xDD Habe auf Englisch, Mathe und Deutsch übrigens eine 1! Bin unheimlich stolz auf mich. Brauche in Latein auch eine 1, werde es aber leider nicht schaffen, wenigstens ist die Lehrerin gut und wir lernen überhaupt etwas. xDD

Ines

Tja, Herbstferien wären jetzt was schönes. Hab diese Woche Latein prüfung, Englisch LZK und Deutsch Schularbeit (Lernschularbeit). Alles recht viel zu lernen und gestern bin ich zu nichts gekommen da wir noch beim Chinesen Essen waren und dann Ball- bzw. Tanzschuhe gesucht haben... Ja ja, das Leben ist hart und ungerecht.
Ich muss auch noch das neue Layout für Fire coden bzw. bearbeiten... Say hat es etwas überladen... xD Und die Bilder von mir benutzt, die total schlechte Qualität hatten. Ich hätte jetzt Lust mich einfach hinzulegen und zu lesen. Ein interessantes Buch wenn möglich. Ich hoffe der Latein Stress ist bald vorbei... Und bald sind sowieso Winterferien. =}
Ich muss mich jetzt noch an die 6c Seite setzen. Klick hier Ist ziemlich einfach gecodet und gestaltet, aber sie erfüllt ihren Zweck. In die Gallery muss ich noch die Sportwochen Fotos stellen, dass mach ich gleich jetzt. ^^

Wie zu erwarten, haben wir in Latein komplett durchgestartet. Jede Stunde Grammatik und jede Woche Vokabelprüfung. Diesen Donnerstag haben wir Lektion 27, am Freitag 1-27... Und die hälfte der Vokabel kann ich nicht, da es einfach zu viele sind.
Nebenbei muss ich noch die Bücher für das Biologie Referat lesen, habe noch immer keines durch. Ich nehme mir einfach nie Zeit zum lesen... Selber schuld. ^^~ Na ja, was solls. Nächste Woche Freitag ist Deutsch Schularbeit, Thema - Das Parfum. Das Buch ist ein wahrhafter "Klassiker" und grandios von A-Z. Ich hoffe ich versaue die Schularbeit nicht, die 2. ist nämlich erst am 26. Jänner und am 29. fliege ich. Ich hoffe bloß, dass ich am 26. nicht mehr in die Schule muss... xD
